What's new October

LivePerson’s top features that were launched in October

October Updates

LivePerson introduced several enhancements to the Conversational Cloud, empowering brands to deliver more personalized, structured, and user-friendly customer experiences.

Non-Responsive Auto Messages

Brands can now personalize automated messages by including agent nicknames, allowing for a more humanized experience. Smart Controls have also been introduced, enabling brands to set multiple messages, control frequency, and determine repetition for non-responsive customers. Mobile SDK Updates

The Mobile SDK now differentiates bot and human agent messages with distinct chat bubble colors, improving user experience by clarifying interaction types. There are multiple branding configurations provided for this purpose. Check out the iOS documentation here & Android documentation here. Additionally, Mobile SDK supports deep links in welcome and proactive messages, allowing brands to direct users to specific app content with callback functionality.

Guided-Only Experience with Structured Content

This feature introduces the ability to lock down the text input field when specific Structured Content (SC) is presented, guiding users to select from provided options rather than typing freely. By directing user responses, brands can create highly structured bot conversations that lead customers through intentional and specific flows, enhancing both control and consistency.
