Assign Record Parent

    The Assign Record Parent feature allows end users who are creating new Leads or Contacts in the Tenfold UI to subsequently attribute those records to a parent record (example: Account) with a few clicks right inside Tenfold.

    When users create a new Contact, they may want to tether it to a particular Account. Assign Record Parent makes this possible.

    After enabling Assign Record Parent in the Features area of the Tenfold Dashboard, the + Add Parent Account button appears just underneath the Contact's name in your Tenfold UI:

    When users click + Add Parent Account, they are redirected to a search and creation card within their Tenfold UI. From there, the user can search existing accounts or create a new account to assign as the Parent Record to their newly created Contact:

    Configuration

    Tenfold Administrators can set up this feature by following these simple steps:

    1. Navigate to the Tenfold Dashboard.
    2. Select the Features Tab.
    3. Find and select 'Assign Record Parent' from the features menu on the left-hand side
    4. Toggle the pill button in the top right corner to enable or disable the feature.
